ATR Services aus den USA bietet mit dem ATR Aria System eine absolut high-endige Aufnahme-/Wiedergabeelektronik für Bandmaschinen in Class-A Audioschaltung an. Entwickelt von David Hill (Crane Song) und ATR Services repräsentiert Aria mit seiner Class A Audioschaltung das Machbare in analoger Schaltungstechnik. Fritz Fey schreibt im Studiomagazin
Das Aria System lässt sich mit unzähligen Bandmaschinenlaufwerken von Studer, Telefunken, Otari, Tascam, MCI oder Ampex kombinieren und ersetzt komplett die ursprügliche Aufnahme-/Wiedergabeelektronik dieser Bandmaschinen. Wir haben das Aria System mit einer Telefunken M15A 1" vermählt. Diese State-of-the-Art Maschine erreicht mit einem hochaussteuerbarem GP9 1" Band eine Soundqualität, an der sich alle analoge und digitale Formate messen müssen.
Aria electronics incorporate:
• Completely class A circuitry throughout the entire audio path by utilizing discrete transistors. There are absolutely no integrated circuits in the entire audio path from tape head to output
• A transformerless topology, enhancing transient response and extending bandwidth
• A whopping 438 kHz bias frequency, assuring ample separation from the audio bandwidth and contributing to ultra-low overall distortion
• Super high current record / bias amplifiers, providing headroom that far exceeds any other recorder design, past or present
• Independent channel circuit cards, simplifying service and factory support, reducing spares stock and down time, enhancing reliability, and eliminating future interconnect problems
Each channel card is equipped with a bright blue "record ready" and red "in record" status indicators. ATR Services has also provided clients with many different custom systems, from mono to 3 track to 16 track. Custom work is our specialty, so please if you would like to discuss options and pricing.
To realize the full benefit of Aria playback, we recommend upgrading the playback head on your existing system to our 60 mH Aria reference head.
